CRA Standards Unlocked – Workshop Series

The "CRAStandards Unlocked – Workshop Series," organised by the EU‑funded CYBERSTAND.eu and STAN4CRA.eu projects, launched its European leg in February 2026 in Turin, bringing together cybersecurity experts, standards developers, and European SMEs eager to understand and prepare for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The workshop aimed to demystify CRA requirements and highlight the standards, tools, and guidance available to help SMEs strengthen their cybersecurity posture.

Although NERO’s tools and training resources are not designed specifically for CRA compliance, project representatives viewed this workshop as a strategic opportunity to demonstrate NERO’s relevance for SMEs. Aligned with the European Cybersecurity Skills Framework, NERO’s portfolio supports organisations in improving resilience and risk management, complementing CRA objectives by helping SMEs go beyond compliance.

The workshops provided an ideal platform to showcase how NERO can strengthen SME cybersecurity, offering resources that—while not compliance tools per se—enable businesses to embed robust practices aligned with European standards.

Following the Turin kickoff, the next workshop will take place in Barcelona on 26 March 2026, also in a hybrid format, providing more SMEs the opportunity to engage with CRA insights and explore NERO’s tools and training resources.
