NERO Project Showcased at Digital Europe Programme InfoDay in Cyprus

14 July 2025 – The Digital Europe Programme (DEP) InfoDay took place on 9 July 2025 in Nicosia, Cyprus, bringing together key actors in the EU’s digital transition. Among the projects featured was NERO, presented by eBOS Technologies’ Dr. Elisavet Grigoriou and Dr. Charalambos Klitis.

NERO is a cybersecurity awareness platform designed to help SMEs adopt a security, first mindset. It provides tailored tools and training to improve digital preparedness and resilience. The project has been tested across healthcare, transport, and finance sectors, demonstrating its effectiveness in cross-border, real-world settings.

eBOS, serving as the project’s technical lead, is aligning NERO with evolving EU regulations such as the AI Act and NIS2 Directive. The initiative supports the EU’s Digital Decade targets by enhancing cybersecurity capabilities and digital skills within the SME sector.

NERO stands as a strong example of how Cyprus-based innovation is contributing to Europe's digital sovereignty and cyber resilience.
