On 3 December 2025, the NERO Project held its second training session of the three-part Hands-On Cybersecurity Training Series titled "Advanced Threat Detection and Privacy Protection for SMEs." The event is an engaging and practical learning experience designed to help equip SMES with practical tools and skills to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats more effectively.

In this session, attendees learned three NERO training modules focusing on network security essentials, penetration testing, cybersecurity tools like Snyk for advanced Software Security and fundamentals and advanced concepts in network intrusion detection systems (NIDS).
